Capture the now with Kennedy – a new way to mark moments in time complete with surrounding context of the things happening around you.

---
"Theres no shortage of apps that want to help you document your life, but there are none quite like Kennedy." — The Verge
---

With one-tap Kennedy will capture layers of a moment including location, date and time, current weather conditions, latest world news headlines (which you can choose to hide)) together with what music youre listening to at the time. Add a note or a photo and then save it to the archive of captured moments.

Use the archive to relive past moments. Remember where you were when that big news event happened, or show all those moments when it was raining or when you were listening to that much loved song. Secure your archive using the Touch ID option.

---
"Kennedy (like Dawes other projects) is an experiment that challenges the way we interact with and interpret data." — Cool Hunting
---

Use the Data Explorers to explore your captures; see them grouped by locations on a map, geek out with stats and relive moments with postcards from the past.

Share any of your captures to Twitter, Facebook or via email and SMS.

Edit your photos, make adjustments and add effects using the built-in photo editor.

Choose from different headlines that were happening at the time and view the actual news article. Specify your own news source using RSS feeds - local, global, politics, technology, its up to you!

Sync Kennedy across all your devices through iCloud and backup and restore your data using Dropbox.

View a map of where you were stood when you captured the now; add a venue via a list provided by Foursquare and open the venue details in the Foursquare app.

Export your data to a standard JSON or CSV file so you can create your own data visualisations or import them into online data viz tools.

Filter the archive to find locations, weather conditions and more.

Pros and cons of Kennedy: Capture the Now app for iPhone and iPad

Kennedy: Capture the Now app good for

Its a nice app. But I cant use it. Can you update and make this app useable without knowing my location. I like to just use it as a journal. I really dont want people to know where I am. But its a great app though.
This App is very useful to save moments in your life. If it has been in other languages, too, Id have gave 5 Stars.
I do love this app. Minimalistic designed app to catch moments of your live.
I really like it. Its a pretty simple idea but done well and fun. Also seems private (doesnt connect to fb and everything else) so that is a bonus.
Im really liking this app for many reasons. Its super simple and to the point. Its great for logging those moments that feel more private than something for Facebook or Twitter. Ive been able to sync with my favorite subreddit as a news source which gives a new flavour to my journaling experience.

Some bad moments

I don’t think the graphics are appropriate. It’s an ok idea, but when I read the description I was expecting something more. It’s another Lifeloggin app, like all the other.
Its an awesome idea! My first note capture failed. I m sure the app will improve in coming days and will be used by a lot.
This app is great. It looks nice and it works like a charm. Just one thing: backing up. We should be able to back our notes and all that good stuff on iCloud or Dropbox, then allow an "Import/Export" option if you get a new phone and want to import your past notes. Other than that, this app is wonderful.
I have tried out a lot of "catch-this-moment" or note/diary or whatever you want to call them apps. I have to say Kennedy is great not only for its simplicity but for its lack of guilt with no use. Apps like Moment notify and pester you to use it daily, whereas Kennedy doesnt need to. Love love love it.
This app is great because its no pressure. When I journal, I always feel like I need to write long entries but with Kennedy, I dont even feel the need to write complete sentences and I can just jot down what happened at a specific moment in time. I really wish you could add a password though. Not having that added protection makes me want to share less.
The concept is great. The UI is, well, juvenile. The app creator has chosen to use "dot" letters and numbers and not only are they very hard to read but they went out of style in the 1970s. The app could use a visual makeover which would make it so sophisticated looking. But for now I wouldnt recommend downloading this app until its cleaned up. You have my money, but not my loyalty, Im afraid. Delete.
